It’s been a while since I last blogged. A lot of exiting things going on lately. My interest has shifted from multimedia development to interactive design/art direction. I’m really also into mobile design and data visualization/infographics. I’ll blog more about these topics in future posts.

Here’s a great video on Data Visualization:

I’ve been tinkering around with HDR images a lot lately. If you’ve never heard of HDR (high dynamic range imaging), it’s “a technique that allow a greater dynamic range of luminances between the lightest and darkest areas of an image”. This can be done by taking photos with multiple exposure settings. A lot of DSLR [...]

It’s a little late, but I thought I’d give a brief summary of my SXSWi experience. This is now the fourth SXSW that I’ve attended (2005, 2007, 2008, 2010), and it seems that every year there tends to be a buzz towards a specific topic or technology. In 2005, it was all about web standards. [...]

I’ve finally got a chance to create a iPhone version of my portfolio site.

Since the majority of my work is creating flash driven content, I’ve always had concerns that one day humankind will disable their flash players and all new technologies/companies will stop supporting it. So far, that hasn’t happened yet. But Apple is [...]

After one of the heaviest snowfalls to ever hit the Dallas area, I couldn’t help but to pull out my camera and start shooting. Although I took plenty, only a few came out good. Below are a few photos shot:

After putting it off for over a year, I’ve finally launched my latest portfolio (version 5).

I kept it minimal this time, only showcasing a small sample of work and a bio section. The reel is still in the works, but I’m hoping to complete it in the coming weeks.

I finally got a chance to have a site refresh on my blog. I decided to move away from gray tones (my usual color of choice), to a more vibrant and colorful look-and-feel. I also switched from Moveable Type to WordPress for the back-end. WordPress rocks all the way! It’s super easy to install, and [...]

I’m looking forward to attending the FITC Mobile Conference in Toronto from September 12-14. I’ve tinkered around with the iPhone SDK and read up on Android a bit, but I’ve yet to create a fully working app. I’m taking both the iPhone and Android Development pre-conference workshops. The cool part about the iPhone workshop is [...]
